Nigerian actor, Obinna Nwafor, who is well known as Saint Obi, has passed on at the age of 57 after a protracted illness.
Saint Obi from news reaching us died since on Sunday, 8th of May in the home of one of his siblings.
It is said that disagreement between his siblings is the reason why his death has not been made official.
The Actors Guild of Nigeria is yet to make a statement as the family have not officially announced his passing away.
Saint Obi was said to have relocated to Jos, Plateau State for further treatment of the ailment that had kept him in and out of the hospital for over two years.
Efforts to speak with his family members on Friday evening and on Saturday afternoon, was not achieved.
It was also gathered that Obi, before his death was spotted being transported to the hospital.
The news of Saint Obi’s passing has left many people in shock.
One reaction read: “One of the best acting talents Nigeria ever had.”
The great Actor came into prominent with the movie “Sakobi” and has featured in over 100 movies.
