‘I want to be reincarnated DMX, 2Pac in Africa’ – Odumodublvck
Nigerian hip-hop singer and rapper, Tochukwu Ojogwu, better known as Odumodublvck, has declared his aspiration to become the reincarnation of iconic American rappers, DMX and 2Pac of African music industry.
Odumodublvck insinuated that he doesn’t want to be seen solely as a “Nigerian artist” but rather aims to be recognized as a global superstar.
The singer made this declaration immediately after signing a significant career-altering contract with the renowned American multinational record label, Def Jam Recordings, based in the United States.
This new deal showcases his determination to achieve widespread recognition and make a lasting impact on the international music stage.
Odumodublvck said:
“Back home in Nigeria, you have artists that are really stigmatised for using our cultural language. I don’t want them [foreigners] to say, ‘he’s Nigerian and he’s just Nigerian [artist].’

I will be returning to assist with the investigations – Naira Marley
Nigerian singer Naira Marley has vowed to come back to Nigeria to help with the ongoing police investigations concerning the death of Mohbad.
Naira Marley made this notification in an effort to clear his name from any assumption involving him in Mohbad’s demise.
The singer addressed the public’s suspicions over the weeks following the death of his former protege, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, well known as Mohbad.
Naira Marley took to his official Instagram page on the evening of September 26, 2023, emphatically asserting that he is not a running and intends to provide his account of the events upon his coming back to Nigeria.
In the statement, he candidly discussed the character attacks he had endured in the aftermath of Mohbad’s passing, emphatically denying any role in the tragic incident.
Marley’s statement stated thus:
“I have been out of the country since the 31st of August 2023 and I’m here to return in light of the police investigation I am making arrangements to return to the country to assist the investigation and give my version of events, I am fully cooperating with the police team and I certainly have no reason to be a fugitive when I have no hand in his death.”
Furthering his commitment to the truth, he said that he is working closely with the police to solve the case and that he has evidence to vindicate his reputation.
He said:
“My lawyers are already in touch with the police and government agencies and will support you in every way necessary without a doubt I will honour his memory and I promise to do right by him and his family. I am dedicated to proving my innocence and I am cooperating with the authorities to clear my name with sufficient evidence.”

Naira Marley continued, that he never physically confronted or tormented Mohbad neither before or after joining his label.
He also emphasized that during Mohbad’s lifetime, he was never subjected to bullying or other forms of damage.
The deceased was a member of Naira Marley’s record label up until September 2022.
There were rumours that after he passed away on September 12, 2023, Marley, his friend Sammy Larry, and his label were responsible for the harassment and his demise. Marley now distances himself from these assertions.

Pres. Describes Senator Johnson’s Recent War Threats As “Reckless” -Vows ‘Liberia Will Not Returns To War’
President George M. Weah has termed as ‘reckless’ statement made by Nimba County Senator Prince Johnson that borders on threatening Liberia’s peace.
The Liberian Chief Executive spoke, during an intercessory service held at the Winners Chapel Church over the weekend, upon his retur to Liberia.
The President further assured that will not allow the country to return to War nor there will be rebel checkpoints planted across the country.
This, President Weah stressed, “Liberians hearing across the country, no need to panic because there will be no War or any checkpoints planted for people to call their name/names before passing.”
He also promised to ensure the country remains on the path of peace while saying No to War, assuring of a free, fair and transparent electoral process in October of this year.
However, prior to the President’s assertion, Nimba County Senator and former warlord, Prince Johnson was heard warning against any attempts by the government to rig the upcoming general elections.
Sen. Johnson, known for his participation in the country’s 14 years of war and killing of former President Samuel K. Doe said, “The people are resolve to protect their ballots.”
“And any attempts by this government would witness the Arab scenario. You will shot us will your guns and if we don’t die, we will come after you,” he said.
In what many believed to be a buttressed to Senator Johnson’s statement, Unity Party (UP) standard bearer, Joseph Boakai warned that it would be the end of Liberia if CDC-Gov’t attempts to rig October 10 Presidential and Legislative elections.
This, former Vice President Boakai told citizens in Grand Bassa that, “if the Government think they will steal the election, it will be the end of the country”.
He at the same time called on UP alliance and other citizens to protect their votes, and not allow it to be rigged by the CDC government.

Mohbad’s Death Revealed To Us Areas We Did Not focus On – Kunle Afolayan
Nigerian film producer, Kunle Afolayan, has ascertained that the death of singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, known as Mohbad, has opened the eyes of many to areas that people never focused on.
Kunle Afolayan, while mourning the singer during an Instagram post, said that every person has a certain purpose to fulfill before departing from the world.
He said:
“I know the last few days have been very emotional for a lot of people, including myself, in regards to Mohbad’s death.
“But for me, I have a different take. We all came to this world to fulfill a certain purpose, and when that is completed, we depart this world.
“I think he came to liberate and start a movement, to open people’s eyes to areas we never paid attention to. I think he has fulfilled the essence of why he came to this world.

The people of Sierra Leone are crying and seeking help from all well-meaning internal and external stakeholders to stop Maada Bio’s barbarism.
Many international stakeholders are coming to the aid of the most suffering Sierra Leoneans amid the continuous violence and human rights violations, mass killings, arbitrary arrests, and other vices they are facing in Sierra Leone. Leading the race in holding Bio to account is the United States of America government which is conspicuously showing its strength against the tyrannical SLPP regime of Maada Bio. Disappointingly, the United Kingdom government of Rishi Sunak is yet to reveal the frontline contributions expected of them to protect lives and property in Sierra Leone. SLFA AGS Accompanies VP Juldeh Jalloh During an Inspection on The Siaka Steven Stadium Renovation
The Acting General Secretary of the Sierra Leone Football Association Mohamed Benson Bawoh was yesterday Tuesday September 19 in accompaniment to the Vice President of the Republic of Sierra Leone Dr. Juldeh Jalloh during a conducted tour to asses the progress of the Siaka Steven Stadium refurbishment project.
Also part of the high-profiled delegation were the Minister of Sports Madam Augusta James-Teima, the Executive Director of the National Sports Authority Dr. Kenneth Brima, the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of Sierra Leone H.E. Wang Qing, the Director of Competitions of the Sierra Leone Football Association Sorie Ibrahim Sesay and other key Ministry of Sports and National Sports Authority officials.
In his submission during the tour, the Sierra Leone Football Association Acting General Secretary Mohamed Benson Bawoh provided series of professional guides to ensure the renovation exercise falls in line with the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and the Federation International de Football Association (FIFA) stadium standards.
Key among Benson Bawoh’s recommendations is the installation of individual seats across the full capacity of the stadium which he said “is a non negotiable criteria in the CAF and FIFA stadium approval process”. He pleaded with the Government of Sierra Leone and its Chinese partners to strongly consider this to enable the stadium meet the set international standards.

Samura Kamara’s Aide Denies Recent Speculations
One of Samura Kamara’s Aides, Amadu Speedo Sesay has denied a recent speculation that the APC Presidential candidate has agreed for APC elected Members of Parliament and Councillors to take office.
The recent speculation came to the fore after the party held negotiations with the ruling Sierra Leone People’s Party facilitated by the Commonwealth.
“Contrary to what is being circulated by mischief makers and detractors of Dr. Samura Kamara on social media that he has accepted for the APC Members of Parliament and Councillors to participate in the Bio-led government, it’s worthy to note that Dr. Samura Kamara remains resilient in standing by the grassroots and all rumors making the rounds on social media are baseless,” Sesay said.
He added that the rumour is a ploy to distract the APC Presidential candidate and his supporters.
The Aide also noted Samura Kamara’s commitment to the APC boycott of governance.
“Dr. Samura Kamara is not in any way thinking of disappointing the grassroots of the APC party and Sierra Leoneans,” he said.
