The Executive Committee of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) officially announced that the collaborative bid from Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania has successfully secured the privilege of hosting the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
This announcement was made yesterday, September 27, 2023, in Cairo, Egypt. The joint bid faced formidable competition from other African nations, including Senegal, Botswana, and Egypt, all eager to host this prestigious tournament.
