Information reaching African Entertainment indicates that convicted actress, Rosemond Alade Brown, aka Akuapem Poloo, will be addressing the media today, Saturday, April 24, 2021.
The said press conference per a public notice sighted by African Entertainment, is scheduled to take place at 2:00pm.
During the press conference, the incarcerated actress is expected to speak on her legal woes so far.
According to a Public notice issued to African Entertainment, Akuapem Poloo and her team will address the press on the 4th floor of the Fine Print building Opposite Inesfly, towards the Toyota Ghana in Accra.
Background
The court granted Akuapem Poloo bail in the sum of GHc80,000 with two sureties. In addition to the bail, she is to report to the case investigator every two weeks and is to deposit her passport with the registrar of the court.
She was convicted to serve a 90-day jail term by the Circuit Court in Accra after pleading guilty to three charges including publication of obscene materials involving her seven-year-old son.
There was back and forth between her lawyer and security agencies since securing bail, but she was brought to the court to sign her bail bond on Friday.
