Wendy Shay says she will drag producers of Netflix movie ‘Slay’ to court for using one of her songs in the movie without the permission of her management.
In a party scene in the movie, Wendy Shay‘s song ‘All For You’ was heard being played but according to her, she and her management were never contacted for the use of the song and that is against the copyright laws.
She says if they do not do the right thing, she’s dragging their asses to court. She wrote;
“So, I watched this movie last night on Netflix and my song, ‘All for you’ was featured without my consent or that of my management. Producers of the movie ‘Slay’, it is a crime to use someone’s intellectual property without her consent. Kindly do the needful or i will see y’all in court”.
