Award-winning Afro-Fusion singer and songwriter, Jackeline Acheampong, popularly known as Gyakie is set to perform at this year’s MTV Base Africa Day Concert.
The highly anticipated concert will be stream to a global audience on YouTube and broadcast across MTV channels today, 25th May 2021 at 19:00CAT/18:00WAT.
The ceremony will be hosted by Hollywood actor Idris Elba with performances from South Africa’s Elaine, rapper Focalistic, rap duo Blaq Diamond, Nigerian singer Teni, Afrobeat stars Bella Shmurda Omah Lay, Suspect 95 from the Ivory Coast, Kenya’s Bahati, and Tanzania’s Zuchu.
