President Akufo-Addo & IMF Boss
Joshua Boye-Doe aka Kalyjay — the originator of the #FixTheCountry has vowed to stop international donors like the IMF and World Bank from giving out loans to Ghana.
Joshua Boye-Doe’s tweet comes on the heels of a loan President Akufo-Addo secured for the Development Bank of Ghana in France set to repaid after 15 years. The majority of Ghanaians believe that the borrowing by the government has become excessive especially when the NPP government promised “Ghana Beyond Aid” in 2016.
Joshua Boye-Doe says that he is going to start a new campaign to discourage international donors from giving out loans and grants to a “Ghana Beyond Aid” Ghana.
He tweeted;
“One day we will just get up and start tagging IMF and World Bank with a hashtag. They should stop giving loans to our leaders. Just one day. Make you people prepare”.
