President Uhuru Kenyatta has appointed a new Chief Justice for Kenya.
Justice Martha Karambu Koome’s nomination has been approved by the National Assembly of Kenya.
She is a Human Rights advocate, She becomes the first woman to assume office as Chief Justice of Kenya.
Justice Koome has 33 years of experience in law and is aged 61 years.
