Kidi’s “Touch it” tops Most Streamed Music chart in South Africa 

 

Lynx Entertainment signee, Kidi’s “Touch It” has topped the 5 most streamed music chart of the week in South Africa.

The top five most stream African artists in  were shortlisted by South African  radio station, Metro FM.

Kidi recently released the visual for “Touch It” as his second of the year 2021 after his hit track “Spiritual” featuring Nigeria’s Patoranking and Kuami Eugene.

The “Touch It” video directed by Rexx and produced by Kidi is the lead single in his yet-to be released “Golden Boy” album.

Burna Boy’s song “Kilometer” took the second position on the music chart.

 

“Kilometer” produced by Chopstix is Burna Boy’s new solo single since he won the 2021 Grammy Award for Best Global Music Album for ‘Twice as Tall.’

The Ghanaian “rap king” Sarkodie took the third position with the song “No Fugazy” which is the first single off his forthcoming “No Pressure” album.


“No Fugazy” is a slang  referring to something false or damaged beyond repair. The song was produced by Rexxie and virtually directed by America’s finest video director, Capone.

Nigerian superstar Tekno’s remix song “Enjoy” featuring South African Mafikizolo took the fourth position on the musical countdown.

The “Enjoy” remix produced by Blaize Beatz and visually directed by Clarence Peters is the 12th track off his recent debut studio album “Old Romance”. The video to the song has garnered over 31 million views on YouTube.

Nigeria-rooted, Berlin-based Wayne Snow took the fifth position with the new music video and single “Seventy”.

The slow-burning song talks about perseverance, overcoming the obstacles that stand in the way, and never letting go.
