Nigerian musician, Peter Okoye popularly known as MrP, has announced winning a $100,000 bet from the UEFA Champions League Semifinal match between Chelsea and Real Madrid.
The match staged at the Stanford Bridge in England on Wednesday, May 5, 2021, ended 2-0 in favor of Chelsea. German international, Timo Werner and English player Mason Mount scored both goals for Chelsea.
With their earlier 1-1 draw in Madrid, Spain, Chelsea advanced to the final of this season’s Champions League on a 3-1 aggregate. The Blues are expected to face their English Premier League counterpart, Manchester City in the Istanbul final on May 29, 2021.
And MrP took to Twitter to announce winning the huge sum of money.
“Who would believe I am $100k richer tonight after Chelsea’s win against Madrid๐คฃ๐๐คฃ๐๐คฃ And the individual is about to $200k Bet again in the finals against Man city๐คฃ๐๐คฃ I smell more money๐คฃ๐๐คฃ๐,” he tweeted.
He shared a video sighted by African Entertainment on Instagram, jubilating Chelsea’s victory over Real Madrid in a wild manner.
