Well known Supermodel Naomi Campbell, has given birth to a boy, her second child.
In a post on Instagram, the well-known model broke the news of the birth of her second child writing:
“My little darling, know that you are cherished beyond measure and surrounded by love from the moment you graced us with your presence. A True Gift from God, blessed ! Welcome Babyboy. #mumoftwo It’s never too late to become a mother,” she captioned a photo of her holding hands with the new born and her first child.
The birth of the 53-year-old’s second child has come in almost 2 years, after she welcomed her first, a daughter.

Kenyan singer claiming shes slept with Davido shows his boxers on live TV.
A Kenyan artist, Pendo Stacy Vugusta has revealed that she had an affair with Nigerian renowned musician David Adeleke, well known as Davido some time ago.
Pendo revealed this on a Nairobi Diaries TV show, claiming that she kept his underwear as a souvenir.
The socialite went further and displayed a pair of boxers that she said she received from Davido, when they met two years ago and hasn’t washed since.
Pendo stated that she adores Davido and that is why, after they slept together, she decided to keep the boxers as a memory of how he smells.
Pendo said:
“I got a souvenir on that day, I had to carry a boxer, his boxers. I thought like ‘why not?’ If you see, he is a kid and he wears so many colours; orange, yellow, black.

President Bio Reveals The Focus of His Next Administration.
The newly re-elected President of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Julius Maada Bio has revealed that the focus of his new administration shall be Food Security, Consolidating gains in Human Capital Development, creating Jobs for our youth, revamping the Public Service, and developing technology and infrastructure.
He twitted these plans on Tuesday shortly after he took the oath of office.

Sierra Leones President Julius Maada Bio Takes Oath of Office After Winning Saturdays Elections
State House, Freetown, Tuesday 27 June 2023 – His Excellency President Dr Julius Maada Bio has sworn to the Oath of Office of the Presidency after winning on the first ballot in the 24 June 2023 elections, thanking voters and extending open hands to the opposition All People’s Congress leadership to kickstart his inclusive governance agenda.
“Today, with the successful conduct of the 2023 multi-tier elections, Sierra Leone stands tall among young democracies for our efforts in consolidating our democratic gains. Peaceful conduct of successive democratic elections has become our national ethos, giving our country the highest accolade in the league of stable democracies worldwide.

SLAJ Commends all Deployed Journalists Covering June 24 Elections
President of Sierra Leone Association of Journalists (SLAJ), Ahmed Sahid Nasralla has commended all media houses and journalists deployed to cover the June 24 general elections across the country for doing their work professionally and impartially.
He was speaking at a press conference held at SLAJ headquarters on Campbell Street in Freetown on Monday, 26th June 2023.
According to the SLAJ President, “The conduct of journalists and media houses on polling day so far is encouraging, professional and impartial”.
He maintained that it is worthy to note that the Coordinator of the Media Reform Coordinating Group (MRCG), Dr. Francis Sowa also hailed the media for its professional performance on polling day.
Ahmed Sahid Nasralla added that, “we have received complaints from the leadership of the Independent Radio Network (IRN) about a broadcast by Justice Radio FM accusing the platform of holding secret meetings with the main opposition Presidential Candidate, Dr. Samura Kamara to ensure that the platform announces results from Polling Stations that are favourable to the candidate and his party.
The SLAJ President continued that the radio station further called on the Sierra Leone Police to stop the platform from announcing provincial results from polling stations, and urged the public to stop listening to the platform.
According to the SLAJ President, there were no reported incidents of threats or attacks/assaults against journalists or media houses on polling day across the country.
He lamented that, however, a group of journalists (including foreign journalists) were trapped at the All People’s Congress headquarters on Old Railway Line, Brookfields, Freetown, on Sunday 25th June 2023, while covering the party’s Press Conference during which the Sierra Leone Police (SLP) fired tear gas to disperse the crowd of supporters that had gathered in and around the building.
Ahmed Sahid Nasralla said after receiving distress calls from the journalists and their media houses, SLAJ contacted the SLP and requested their intervention to get colleagues out of the building adding that the SLP Regional Commander, Freetown West, Sylvester Koroma, ensured the journalists were escorted out of the building unhurt.
He said, nevertheless, SLAJ received complaint from one of the journalists, Ibrahim Alusine Kamara, Managing Editor of Salone Compass newspaper, alleging that his vehicle, which he used to drive to the APC office for the press conference, was vandalized by security officials.
The President said that in as much as Social Media continues to be a concern for the spread of disinformation, fake news, hate speech and political propaganda, especially during the elections they condemn the rampant spread of dis/misinformation of elections results from sources that do not have the authority to do so reiterating that it is only the Elections Commission of Sierra Leone that has that constitutional authority.
He said meanwhile, SLAJ recognizes the efforts by the IRN platform of radio stations, TV stations, and newspapers in covering the elections in a professional and impartial way amidst difficult circumstances.
“We also recognize the great work by our team of Fact-checkers working on the UNDP I-Verify platform and the NDI Super News Room for timely fact-checking of problematic content around the elections and helping the public to have access to accurate and factual information,” he acknowledged and urged journalists to continue to perform their roles responsibly, professionally and impartially.”

Netflix honours Ikorodu Bois for Extraction 2 trailer remake
Global streaming platform, Netflix, has rewarded popular content creators, Ikorodu Bois, with some special gift boxes for their astonishing attempt of the remake of the movie ‘Extraction 2’ trailer.

The Ikorodu Bois, took to their official Instagram page to share the video displaying the gift boxes from Netflix.
In the video, the youngsters were seen excitedly unboxing the bespoke black boxes, to reveal the contents in it.

U.S. Pledges Support To Liberias Fight Against Drug Abuse Illicit Trafficking
The United States says it will continue to work closely with the LDEA and other law enforcement agencies and the Ministry of Justice to reduce drug abuse and illicit trafficking and help those who suffer from addiction successfully pursue recovery.
The US government said it will provide support for this year’s International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking. Today communities all over the world, including in Liberia, mark International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, also called World Drug Day.
Created by the United Nations on December 7, 1987, this day, provides an opportunity to increase awareness about the negative impact of illicit drugs. The theme of World Drug Day 2023 is “People first: stop stigma and discrimination, strengthen prevention.”
The Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency’s (LDEA) annual practice of holding a drugburning exercise at Disco Hill, which also served as the cremation ground during the Ebola crisis, is a somber reminder that substance use disorders and drug trafficking do not disappear during crises and that communities in crisis—suffering from war, epidemics, or other disasters—struggle even more to recover when illicit drugs are present.
In his State of the Union address in 2023, President Biden announced increasing focus on disruption of illicit drug trafficking, expanding access to evidence-based prevention, harm reduction, treatment, and recovery, and ensuring every jail and prison across the U.S. can provide treatment for substance use disorders.
U.S. Embassy Monrovia salutes the focus on increasing prevention, treatment, and recovery services for those with substance use disorders. By recognizing that law enforcement actions are only part of any response, these efforts offer a glimmer of hope to those suffering from addiction, and for their families and communities.
“We reiterate that these developments must be evidencebased, properly resourced, and free of the stigmatizing “treatments” that we now know often make recovery harder and deprive individuals of the community support they need to fight addiction,” he stated.
The primary duty of every government is to protect its citizens from threats, which include drug abuse and illicit trafficking. But it is also the responsibility of ordinary citizens to support efforts to educate Liberian youth about the dangers of drug abuse.
To bolster the Government of Liberia’s efforts to improve drug demand reduction efforts as part of its narcotics response, the U.S. Embassy is training 105 trainers on the Universal Prevention and Universal Treatment Curriculum.
“We hope this evidence-based training improves Liberia’s response to substance use amongst its population,” the Embassy said.
The LDEA and its Liberian security partners are working to reduce the trafficking of narcotics in Liberia.
The LDEA continues to seize and destroy illicit drugs that enter Liberia through its borders and international ports, reducing the negative impact of these drugs on the lives of Liberians.
“We encourage the LDEA and Liberian security institutions to continue to work together to combat illicit drug trafficking and to strengthen their efforts to earn the confidence and trust of the Liberian public. We hope that U.S. government funding of projects with the Carter Center, the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, and the Colombo Plan will help LDEA move forward as a credible and effective organization,” the embassy noted.

Burna Boy was with a gun David Hundeyin revisits Cubana club shooting reveals shocking evidence.
Nigerian independent journalist David Hundeyin, has revisited the 2022 shooting at the cubana club involving music star, Burna Boy.
Burnaboy was rumoured to have made efforts thrice to bring a lady from a group to his table before getting into a fight with the group.
Two members of the group were hurt in the gunfire that followed the dispute at the Cubana club.
David Hundeyin, after a year of the forgotten incident, he got into an online fight with a Burnaboy fans who named his investigative journalism as a phoney.
In retaliation, Hundeyin has produced an exposé on the singer’s club shooting, revealing some descrete details to the public.
Hundeyin alleged in a lengthy thread that Burnaboy had a gun on him during the confrontation, and fled Nigeria when the situation became urgent.
He further alleged that after paying off the victims, they signed a gag order prohibiting them from disclosing details or making public comments.

Senator Ned Nwoko Speaks On Escaping Death With Passengers Of The Submarine Expedition
Nigerian Billionaire, Senator Ned Nwoko has revealed how he escaped dying with the passengers of the submarine expedition to visit the ruins of Titanic ship.
Senator Nwoko took to his official Instagram account to mourn the passing of his close friend and business partner, Hermish Harding.
Harding tragically died during a submarine expedition to visit the ruins of the Titanic ship.
Senator Ned Nwoko recalled how him and Harding embarked on an expedition to Antarctica in 2020

“I have lost a very dear friend and business partner. Captain Hermish Harding. We both went on a very dangerous expedition to the South Pole Antarctica few years back.”
“He was a gulf stream pilot who flew across the world in a record-breaking expedition by Guinness World Record for circumnavigation of the earth some years ago.”
“He descended into the Mariana. He also invited me on his space shuttle last year and this very Titan ill-fated adventure but I was tied down with national duties.”
“Above all, he was a partner on the various research into eradication of malaria in Africa project. He was very enthusiastic about it and always gave his support at every given opportunity.”
“His last message to me was this last Sunday when he told me they were ready to dive to the Titanic if the weather permits. He loved adventure and challenges.”
“My heart bleeds for his dear wife and kids who have become family friends over the years. We will surely miss his wealth of experience.”

It was said that Senator Nwoko’s recent inauguration as one of the Senators of the 10th National Assembly prevented him from joining Harding on the ill-fated Titanic expedition.
Harding, along with four others, lost their lives in the submarine. The casualties included OceanGate founder Stockton Rush, French diver Paul-Henri Nargeolet, Pakistani businessman Shahzada Dawood, and his 19-year-old son Suleman.
The United States Coast Guard has declared them dead after several days of searching, as the small vessel transporting them to the 111-year-old Titanic wreckage site suffered a catastrophic implosion.

BREAKING: Paramilitary Police Storm Howe Street Polling Centre
Police from the Operational Support Division (OSD) have been cited at the St. Joseph Primary School Polling Centre in Central Freetown to calm tensions over delayed voting.
Earlier, there were delays in voting at centre 16148 in the polling station.
Voting in centre 16147 has been ongoing smoothly but our source revealed that the bulk of voters in the polling station are in the said centre.
The delay resulted in a rowdy situation where voters were seen chanting “we want to vote”.
“It is as if they do not want us to vote,” Musa (not his real name) said.

Traditionalist calls out Tope Alabi over use of sacred slang during ministration.
Nigerian known gospel singer, Tope Alabi, has caused a debate when a traditionalist called her out for using a holy slang term connected to idol worship at one of her renditions.
A traditionalist in a trending video online, claimed that it is only people who worship idols, especially Ogboni confraternity members, that make use of the greeting “Aboru Aboye.”
The incident occurred when Tope Alabi recently during a performance, drew the attention of traditionalists and spiritualists by making use of their term “Aboru Aboye” into her song.
This recent act disappointed some traditionalists and they called out Tope Alabi for making use of their sacred greeting.
One of the traditionalist, emphasized that people outside the orthodox group do not use “Aboru Aboye” informally and that it is only used in certain settings.
According to the traditionalist, when greeted with “Aboru Aboye,” the appropriate response is “Aboye Bosise.”

Govt ALL United Nations and Development Partners Hold Sector Portfolio Review
The Liberian Government through the Finance Ministry of Finance with support from all United Nations and Development Partners, has commenced an eight-day joint Sector Portfolio Performance Review (SPPR) in the country.
It begins on Monday, June 19, and will climax on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at the Ministerial Complex in Congo Town, Paynesville.
The overarching objective of the SPPR is to improve transparency, mutual accountability, effectiveness, and decision-making in the management of development financing. The SPPR is expected to:
Facilitate a high-level policy and program dialogue meant to review the performance of each budget sector, identify gaps, and improve on the implementation of agreed programs in the sectors under DPs funded initiatives and the interlink with GOL planned programs.
Facilitate increased coordination in DPs’ financed programs/projects and provide a forum for the cross-fertilization of ideas, experiences, and information sharing across all sectors. Provide a platform for the stocktaking of annual sectoral achievements and identify opportunities for future collaboration meant to improve development cooperation.
Strengthen coordination of development cooperation efforts, capacity to effectively coordinate stakeholder engagements, management of partner resources, improve management cycle, and improve data collection to support the implementation of the PAPD and the “Liberia rising 2030” national vision.
This event will also serve as the launch for the study on “Drivers of Sustainable and Inclusive Development”. This study is intended to inform development factors in the country.
The United Nations and development partners in Liberia are resolved to continue strengthening collaboration and coordination with the Government on sustainable development, building on agreed UN/GOL coordination mechanisms for dialogue, development cooperation, and mutual accountability for the benefit of the people of Liberia.

Iyanya Cheated On Me With Tonto Dikeh Yvonne Nelson Reveals.
Ghana and Nollywood actress,Yvonne Nelson, has revealed that her ex, Iyanya, cheated on her with actress Tonto Dikeh in Nigeria.
Yvonne Nelson made this shocking revelation in her explosive book “I am not Yvonne Nelson.”
Yvonne dedicated Chapter Ten named “Iyanya and my Love Life” to her relationship with the Nigerian singer, Iyanya and how he cheated on her with fellow actress Tonto Dikeh.
Yvonne claimed that she ended the relationship with Iyanya after hearing about his affair with Tonto Dikeh.
She admitted that before that, she had imagined living with Iyanya indefinitely.
she wrote:
“We had a decent relationship. breakfast in bed and all the niceties of a dream relationship one could think of. I had the assurance that he was someone I could be with forever. He tattooed my initials, YN, on his wrist, and I thought that was a big deal. If he wasn’t serious about the he wouldn’t do that. In his hit song, “Ur Waist”, he mentioned how he lusted over me,”
Yvonne further revealed how an unidentified caller warned her that Tonto Dikeh from Nollywood arrives whenever she left Iyanya’s house.
She continued:
“One can therefore imagine my shock when I returned to Ghana after one of my visits to Nigeria and someone called me from his house. The caller said anytime I left Iyanya’s place, another actress came over to him and sometimes slept over. The person felt strongly that there was something going on between them and thought I should know. That actress turned out to be Tonto Dikeh of Nigeria, one of the female celebrities Iyanya named in his “Ur Waist” song.
“When I was convinced about the authenticity of the information I reccived, I was heartbroken. I took to Twitter to rant and vent. Tonto Dike responded on Twitter, saying people changed and so did feelings, so I should move on.”
Yvonne Nelson added she also heard later that Iyanya also cheated with some of his female crew members, and not only with Tonto Dikeh.
“I later heard more stories about what Iyanya did with some of his female crew members. It convinced me that what happened between him and Tonto Dike wasn’t an isolated incident. It was a pattern, his way of life. I knew I eventually would have left even if Tonto Dikeh hadn’t come into the picture. I did not see the need to keep fighting her for a man I had lost, especially when I knew her fate was not going to be different from mine.”

Paulo places N5 million bounty on Tweep who wished Davido dead.
Nigeria music executive Paul Okoye, who is known as Paulo, has placed a N5 million bounty on the twitter user who sent a death wish to singer, Davido recently.
It happened that the Twitter user, who is supposedly a die-hard Burna Boy supporter, phrased a statement wishing Davido dead while posting a clip of a huge audience anticipating Burna Boy in the Netherlands.
Although Davido immediately responded, questioning what he had done to the man to warrant such a malicious post.
Paulo through his Instagram page, immediately announced a N5 million reward for anyone who could assist in locating the Twitter user, as he wanted him to clarify the meaning behind the post.
He wrote:
“@davido, we need to find this guy!!! What is this??? I’m offering 5M!! to find this guy’s location just to explain this tweet,”
The Twitter user swiftly fired back at the music executive, accusing Paulo of using the situation to seek attention on social media.
He responded:
“If you genuinely want to find me, you can easily do so without making noise on social media, and when you do find me, I promise you that nothing will happen,”

BNXN throws jibe at CKay for saying he backed out of a song because of Blaqbonez.
Nigerian singer Daniel Benson, well known as BNXN, has reacted to CKay’s claim that he backed out of his song ‘Hallelujah’ after hearing rapper Blaqbonez’s verse.
Ckay made this known on June 15, 2023, that BNXN had withdrawn from appearing on his latest song, Hallelujah.
He claimed that there were going to be versions of the track with BNXN, Seyi Vibez, and Blaqbonez, but it could not be done due to reasons that were personal.
Ckay revealed that BNXN withdrew from the project after hearing Blaqbonez’s verse.
Meanwhile Ckay continued that rather “Hallelujah” marks his success story from a disadvantaged upbringing to where he is today.
He wrote;
“The bnxn version of HALLELUJAH may never come out. he asked to be ‘excused’ from the song when he heard blaqbonez’ verse and i simply granted his wish.”
“seyi vibez version may also never come out because his team didn’t clear it. maybe the verse was too personal, maybe it was too deep…i fully respect it.”
“But at the end of the day, HALLELUJAH represents my journey from the trenches to where i am today.”

Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, also known as Odumodublvck, has opened up on how he underwent surgery that would have prevented him from successful career.
Odumodublvck claimed that God saved him and used Wizkid to send him a message that he would be a star.
The rapper made this shocking revelation during the recent episode of the Body & Soul podcast, which is hosted by Joeboy.
Odumodublvck said that in 2022, after he was released from the hospital following major surgery, his friends called to alert him about how Wizkid was promoting his song “Picanto,” featuring Zlatan Ibile.
He claimed that the moment Wizkid shared his song on social media was a message from God that he would be prosperous.
Odumodublvck said;
“You can hear the way I’m talking? It’s not because of these [teeth] grills, it’s because I did one operation [surgery]. I almost died but God kept me here right now. And the fact that God saved me, everything that was happening after that was not surprising.

Mr Eazi a successful artist in the music industry, is known for keeping a low profile when it comes to his achievements.
