A significant number of African Presidents are in France for the Paris Summit on Africa.
The Summit is taking place today, May 18, 2021.
African Entertainment has obtained the names of some Presidents who are already in France for the Summit.
Among them are President Nana Akufo-Addo; Paul Kigami of Rwanda; Muhammadu Buhari of Nigeria; Cyril Ramaphosa of South Africa; Alassan Ouattara of Côte d’Ivoire.
Also attending the Summit is Senegal’s Mackey Sall.
The Summit is on Financing African Economies.
It is being convened by the French President, Emmanuel Macron.
“The Summit, which will bring together several African and European leaders, and heads of international financial institutions, will devise strategies that will boost strong, inclusive recovery in Africa, grounded in a dynamic private sector, help foster sustainable progress and prosperity, and accelerate the green and digital transition in line with the 2030 UN Sustainable Development Goals and the Paris Agreement on Climate Change,” President Akufo-Addo in post on his official Facebook page from Paris.
Some of the leaders have been seen in pictures with President Macron and his wife Brigget.
