Ghanaian stand-up comedian, Derrick Kobina Bonney, popularly known as DKB has dropped the defamation suit he filed against actress Akuapem Poloo.
He had dragged Akuapem Poloo to the police for accusing him of hoarding a Ghc ₵4,000 donation made to him for her.
According to DKB in an Instagram post sighted by African Entertainment, some notable personalities including UK-based gospel musician Dr. Sonnie Badu have called on him not to pursue the issue any further.
He added “what touched my heart was that Rosemond’s mother called one of the people almost one hour on the phone wailing and crying, saying she can’t even eat, that she begs, she doesn’t want any police cases, any court case for her daughter again”.
“So these people pleaded with me and officially I have dropped the case against her.
